If you haven’t yet felt that weather is getting colder, I guess my article has the unpleasant mission to remind you about the imminent approach of autumn… and winter.

That’s right, we’re only a few days away from fall and this means we should take a look at what the designers have come up with for the next couple of seasons.

As usual, I’ve compiled a list of YouTube videos from some of the famous designers’ fashion shows. I’m not showing all of them, just the ones that I think have a lot to teach us.

Armani

If you’re the classy kind of guy then you do NOT want to miss Armani’s collection.

While black plays a central part in all outfits, you can see how they’ve managed to pair it with grays, blues, browns and taupes for amazing effects.

Another impressive part of Armani outfits are the cuts (I really enjoyed all the outfits that had peak lapels in them). And, although you won’t find clothes with such cuts anywhere else, you can replicate some of these outfits by purchasing less expensive labels.

Dsquared2

Dsquared2 is by far the best collection hands down. Lots of colors and patterns mixing, nothing too extravagant… these outfits are extremely “wearable”.

Yves Saint Laurent

YSL is betting on black this autumn and winter and, if you like the “rocker” avatar, there’s lots of inspiration here. Lots of leather.

Roberto Cavalli

Dolce & Gabbana

Ports 1961

Pay particular attention to the suits:

Valentino

One question: which show did you like best?
