Check Out My New Stacy Adams Double Monk Strap Boots

October 17th, 2013

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Stacy Adams for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Hey guys,

This article is rather special. I was asked to try on a pair of boots by Stacy Adams and, to be honest, the hardest part was NOT writing this article and taking the shots. It was picking the right pair for my wardrobe needs.

As I'm already stocked up of brogues, desert boots and other common types of shoes, I decided to shoot for the moon and go for the all mighty monk-strap boot… or Hawthorne as they call it.

Why? Let me ask you this: how may people have you seen lately, that are wearing them?

The monk strap shoe needs no introduction for the style aficionado, yet very few newbies dare to (at least) try it on. This boggles me since monk strap shoes stand out in a very subtle way. There's nothing gross or flashy about them.

I was curious as to what this new line of shoes is all about, so I was a little nervous when I open the box. TO my surprise, the shoes I got are amazing!

Take a look at my Stacy Adams pair below:

As you can see, the round toe cap is the one I always recommend for shoes (although you can go for something a little more square if that's what you like).

The straps are, obviously, the best part. They stand out in a very subtle way and the black goes well with my otherwise amazing pair of dyed blue jeans. Here's the link to the actual pair, by the way.

Do you want one for yourself?

If you like them, you're in luck. I'm hosting this giveaway (my very first, actually) and you get to win a pair of Stacy Adams Shoes.

To be honest I haven’t seen anyone rock this lately and particularly not this style. The look amazing, stylish and classy. I also think the shoes will look outstanding in brown. Hope I get to win them, my email: micernest@yahoo.com

I own a pair of Dark Grey boots with “monk” straps and are a nice styling touch that can be seen when sitting down and is still subtle and distinctive without being too busy. Love these micro patterns I’m seeing in the hide. Stacy Adams shoes IMO are at the forefront of men footwear fashion and are highly imitated but not equaled. lincora@eastlink.ca

I like the monk straps. Gives a subtle stylish sense that you have to wait for it to see. Thanks for sharing and the chance to win. Cheers, Nguyen complex@live.unc.edu

Really cool shoes. I think I would wear this shoe with jeans and pants but always with a blazer and tshirt or shirt. My email is mylesmyles9@gmail.com.

oh my my…. these shoes are pretty cool. but we are missing one thing here. its that the shoes are boots with styling of monk shoes. and so they can be put in casual situations pretty stylishly. these are not actually monk shoes but monk booys :D
