Nobody likes cold weather but what if you’re stuck in a region where you’re constantly fighting low temperatures?

Meet the cable knit sweater – a classic whose only purpose is to keep you warm… and stylish.

Origin

Where is the “cable knit” coming from? If you look closer at its texture, you’ll notice thick vertical “ropes” traversing it. This unique pattern is probably the “deepest” you’ll ever meet in an item of clothing.

Men’s Cufflinks – Time To Impress… Again

Most men’s accessories aren’t that extravagant. You’ve got your ties, your belts, your scarves and so on – and the only ways you can variate is through color and pattern. Yet there is one accessory that allows you to go wild: cufflinks.

Just What Are Cufflinks?

Cufflinks are two pieces of (usually) metal that are used to fasten the two sides of a shirt’s cuff. They can only be worn with french cuff shirts but they look damn hot.

I was starting to get worried that I’m not going to find the right pair. Initially I was hoping for a pair of brown brogue shoes but i was disappointed not to have too many choices. The fact of the matter is, most of the boots that I found weren’t didn’t have fur lining.

So I found something that will (hopefully) keep me really warm this winter:

Autumn is almost over and, if you look back at my past articles, you’ll notice a few of them present things that I bought. It’s time to put them all together and show you a, what I consider to be, out of this world outfit.

Though it’s not perfect (my jeans are a little too long), I’m curious as to what you make of it?

The outfit is composed of

  • Camel-colored pea coat
  • Dark brown shirt
  • Orange t-shirt
  • Brown loafers and brown belt
  • Dyed blue-jeans

What did you wear this fall?

Young Man wearing a fedora

We’ve discussed a lot about accessories and how they can amplify attraction. It’s time to put the spotlight on one of the best men’s accessories: hats.

Saying you don’t look good in a hat is like saying you don’t look good in shoes!

Before you say to yourself Nah, I’m not wearing one of those, let me give you some benefits of wearing hats. I’d say this timeless accessory has the largest number of advantages.

Did you know that hats…

  • can make you look taller?

Ready for Winter? Let’s See Some Suggestions…

I’ve had several guys ask me: “What should I wear this winter?”, my typical aanswer being, in fact, a series of questions where I ask them details about themselves:

“How old are you? What’s your body type? What other stylish clothes do you have? What clothes do you like? What clothes don’t you like?”

And on and on.

So here’s my thought. I’ll simply enumerate a few suggestions for this winter… clothes that are ESSENTIAL in any man’s wardrobe… and you can just pick the ones you like the most. Ideally you don’t want to blindly purchase my recommendations – think about what you already have in your closet and which clothes will best work with those.

[I Bought] Dyed Blue Jeans

These are not your ordinary blue jeans. It’s actually a pair that was dyed into a more prominent blue color, reason for which I bought them. :)

I kept looking over them and at the label to see if these are actually jeans or chino pants. I think they’re jeans but maybe you’ll disagree with me after looking at the photos below:

Fabric: 98% cotton, 2% synthetic fibers

I’ll be wearing them with: pretty much anything, as long as I make sure I match this awesome blue color that they have

A Few Cool Clothes For This Fall

November 1st… Winter is one month away, which means we still have to deal with changing temperatures for a while. Since it’s not snowing, I’m going to give you a few more style suggestions for this fall.

This time I decided to look around the Size.co.uk website and see if they have anything interesting. The fact is they have lots of interesting stuff (which I’m about to share).

I’m actually going to assemble a complete head-to-toe outfit with clothes found on their website. They have everything I need for this and I’m really curious to see what I can find. Let’s do it.

[I Bought] A Camel-Colored Pea Coat

camel coat detail

My quest for a stylish “brownish autumn” continues. I’ve already purchased a pair of loafers, 2 belts and a wallet – all in different shades of brown. But I can’t really wear any of those when it’s chilly outside with my black leather jacket, can I? (Well, I can, but matching brown and black is tricky)

I needed a brown coat and H&M had just the one I was looking for: a camel coat. It has class, it has style and it stands out.

Style Icon: Matt Bomer

Whether you’ve watched the White Collar TV series or not, you’ll have a lot to learn from this series’ main character: Matt Bomer (a.k.a Nick Caffrey on the show). If elegance is what you’re looking for, rest assured you’ll find plenty of inspiration throughout Matthew’s lookbook.

Outfit #1

Let’s start with my absolute favorite: a picture of Matt wearing a tie clip, a hat and a pocket square.

What I love most about this outfit is that, because the contrast is not very strong, the three classic accessories are getting all the attention.
