[I Bought] Suede Leather Boots

February 11th, 2012

I don’t know if you’ll categorize these boots as brogue boots because, although the wingtip is there, the perforations that usually appear on the toe cap are missing. Nevertheless, I’m happy with my new acquisition: great price, great fabric, classy look.

[I Bought] Brown Leather Sneakers and a Brown Belt

February 9th, 2012

Prices are continuing to drop in February so I had to do an emergency budget increase. I went back to Zara where shirts are getting cheaper and cheaper… but since I already got 2 of them last month I picked up this cool-looking leather belt. It’s really thin, which gives it a dose of formality.

I also found a great deal over at Pull and Bear and got myself a pair of leather sneakers at an unbeatable price. Here’s my two acquisitions below:

[I Bought] A White Shirt and a Green Blouse

January 28th, 2012

Zara being my favorite brand and since we’re in the middle of the discount season, I did another quick check to see if prices went any lower. I just had to step in when I found myself in front of the store.

And I did. I bought a cool white dress shirt (any man should have at least one) and a green top whose price was 30% off since the last time I was there.

Let’s start off with the shirt.

Item: Dress shirt
Fabric: 100% cotton
Color: white
Brand: Zara
Store: Zara
Price: $27 (on January 24th 2012)
I’ll be wearing it with: vests, ties, sports jackets, suits etc.

Sales prices are dropping this January and I went on a bargain hunt. I wish I had a bigger budget but still, I’m happy with my acquisitions. I’m particularly happy about the red scarf which I’ve been looking for some time now. But you’ll see in a minute.

Let’s start with this amazing dress shirt from Zara (which needs some adjusting, of course).

Color: white and purple
Pattern: houndstooth
Brand: Zara

[I Bought] A Pair of Cufflinks

January 8th, 2012

Remember how I bought that french cuff shirt for New Years? Obviously, I needed a pair of cufflinks to go with it… and figuring out what kind wasn’t hard… it wasn’t hard at all.

I needed something with red. And, although I wondered for hours in both our malls to find them, I decided o buy them from the very store that sold me the shirt.

Item: cufflinks
Fabric: brass and artificial crystal
Brand: Artigiani
Store: Bigotti
Price: $75 (on December 31 2011)
I’ll be wearing them with: my french-cuff shirt

[I Bought] A French-Cuffed Shirt

January 5th, 2012

While looking for something stylish to wear on New Year’s, it hit me: why not go for something really classy? Why not go for a french cuff shirt?

A brief recap of what french cuffed shirts are. They look just like regular dress shirts except for one thing: the cuffs don’t have any buttons! They make use of some (really stylish) cuff links to hold the cuffs together.

Item: french cuffed shirt
Color: white with blue microchecks
Fabric: cotton
Brand: Artigiani
Store: Bigotti
Price: $106 (on December 24 2011)
I’ll be wearing it with: cuff links, vests, suits, sports jackets, chinos, khakis and so on

[I Bought] Grey Suede Winter Boots

November 26th, 2011

I was starting to get worried that I’m not going to find the right pair. Initially I was hoping for a pair of brown brogue shoes but i was disappointed not to have too many choices. The fact of the matter is, most of the boots that I found weren’t didn’t have fur lining.

So I found something that will (hopefully) keep me really warm this winter:

[I Bought] Dyed Blue Jeans

November 6th, 2011

These are not your ordinary blue jeans. It’s actually a pair that was dyed into a more prominent blue color, reason for which I bought them. :)

I kept looking over them and at the label to see if these are actually jeans or chino pants. I think they’re jeans but maybe you’ll disagree with me after looking at the photos below:
