How To Tie An Eldredge Knot The Right Way

If you’re bored tying the same tie knot every morning, I have an amazing knot for you that I’m sure you’ll love. The Eldredge Knot is, without a doubt, harder to pull but the results are stunning.

This is a wide knot so, to pull it off you need a shirt with wide spread. To make it look good you need a patterned tie and… lots of practice.

Here’s a list of the best youtube videos I found. I’m putting more of them in case they get pulled down as time goes by. It’s always safe to have backup videos that work.

Although I think that, in the second video, he should have used a wider spread collar to make it look great, it’s the step-by-step instructions that we’re interested in.

    I could never see myself wearing at tie with that Eldredge knot, terrible.

    This is awesome! I’ve been seing a few different knots lately I want to try. One looks like a regular Windsor, but the tie’s turned around so you see the underside of the knot. I love this idea of changing little things up to make your look fresh.
