If you think wearing business clothes is a surefire way of feeling uncomfortable 8 hours a day, think again. You’ve probably took style advice from your colleagues or boss who, most likely, don’t know the basics of fashion.

One of the qualities that separate the winners from the losers is preparedness. As a businessman or manager, you never know when you have to meet a client or jump into a meeting. That’s why you have to be prepared every single day to make a lasting first impression.

Top 5 Most Important Men’s Style And Fashion Books

August 24th, 2010

Though I write a lot about specific men’s style tips and tricks, very rarely do I talk about books on this topic. Since I’ve read a few in my time, I want to share them with you, along with a few words on each of them.

Books have the advantage they compress a great amount of info in a small place. This info is organized, in the case of men’s style books, on items of clothing.

Wear Polo Shirts For a Stylish Summer Look

August 15th, 2010

I have a confession to make: the first time I took a closer look at a polo shirt I didn’t know what to make of it. Most men wear t-shirts all summer long, making them very common. The guy wearing the polo had a refreshing look. There just was something about that dress-shirt-versus-t-shirt combination that made him stand out.

A few weeks later it hit me: the polo shirt combines formal with casual in a very stylish way. It keeps the collar from the dress shirt and borrows the short sleeves from the regular t-shirt.
